Golden Bug
This work depicts a golden beetle emerging from between the chips of an OSB board, set against a matte black background. The beetle is at once an ordinary forest dweller and an ancient symbol of resilience, rebirth, and the bearer of good fortune.
The fragmented surface of the OSB board creates the impression that the insect has crawled out from some hidden cache – half concealed, half revealed, just as it would appear in nature. The golden shimmer adds a layer of dignity and mystique, transforming this small creature into an almost iconic figure.
